exactly!! and let me explain to why what he said made me really fucking happy and super fucking proud of him.
first of all, look at their situation before any of this happened. they’re the it group, they’re at the top and nothing can even touch them at that point.
then this entire situation happens and its a sad wake up call that they aren’t. it sucks that this all happened but it probably put their entire image as exo into perspective that they could come crashing down just as easily as anyone else.
but they aren’t giving up just because kris walked out. they’re fucking fighting through all the bullshit and the drama.
whether we like it or not, they are a new exo and from here on out they wont be the same naive rookies they were before.
and kyungsoo fucking gets that. they’re having to literally start all over with their group because its just them now.
its not trying to bad mouth kris, its accepting that he probably isn’t coming back and at this point its them shutting everyone up and continuing on like and fighting through the pain of the entire ordeal. and im really fucking proud that despite all the shit he’s having to go through right now, filming his drama, relearning choreo for the concert, promoting overdose during all this drama, he actually said something really uplifting and if anyone takes that the wrong way i suggest you go back to high school and take a literature class because what he said was not meant in an ill manner
